HANDLING REPLIES

Now that your letters have been sent, here are some tips on how to handle replies and what to expect.

Key points:-

• MP’s and Senators are there to represent, not rule over you.

• Keep record of your communications.

• Before you reply to any response, re-read your original letters to reacquaint yourself with what you are trying to say in order to remain on topic.

• Confirm you are communicating with your representative, and not being blocked by the admin staff.
